Envision 27" + PS2!

Hey guys can i get some advice, I've bought Envision 27" lcd tv and i hooked up ps2 to it but it doesn't wide screen fully on tv. Now I have enabled 16:9 on ps2.

The pc+tv work fine it covers the whole screen when wide screen option is selected but when switched to PS2 it doesn't go wide screen.

Anyone else have this problem with this tv?? any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thx

the 16:9 setting on the PS2 is only for DVDs, not actual games. Few PS2 games support widescreen.
