[Esso] Esso Touchless car wash 1/2 Price

Was at the esso gas station over by Elgin Mills and Leslie and they have the Luxury car wash (top level wash) for 1/2 price. According to the attendant its offered on tuesdays and not sure how long the promo will last. Normal price of $8.99.

Its touchless, rail-less wash. Taxes in for $4.76 per wash and no need to gas up.

I brought 4 tickets for $19.0r total and they are good for 90 days.

Good for those cold days where u dont want to stand there waving the wand around at the coin wash.

You should probably wash it more often than that, especially in the winter time. Those salts that stick to your car aren't good for the paint at all.

But if you let the grime coating get thick enough, the salt and water won't be able to penetrate to cause any damage. :cheesygri

Actually, what really gets the rust going is a wet/dry cycle in salty conditions. For instance, when you park your car in a warm garage, the snow and ice melts, forming a nice brine that eats away at your metal parts. It's better to keep your car dry and frozen.

Just had a car wash at Esso today in Mississauga (Hwy 10 & Central Parkway). No half price here but still a long line up (like 10 cars +).

You could also rinse the car every now and then if you park it in the garage . . .
