Are there any coupons or promo codes for a round trip from London to Paris?
Fares are pretty good compared to North American travel but any savings would be awesome

Once you know your travel dates, book right away. Earlier you book, the cheaper it is.
For a roundtrip tix, I paid 69 pounds on jan.2 for a jan.31 travel date.
I checked every week and as it it closer to the travel dates the more expensive it got. Also fewer selection for departing times.
I tried looking for coupons and discount and sometimes Eurostar website does have promos so check their site.

After you add on the cost of getting from central London to the airport, from the Paris airport to central Paris and the charge for luggage it quite often is cheaper to take the train.
As for cheaper prices, in the past the different regional sites would have different sales. So Eurostar.com, Eurostar.co.uk, Eurostar.fr and the Belgium site (whatever it is called) might have different prices. I don't think this is true anymore, but you might want to check. (I think you'll have to erase your cookies or use private browsing to visit each site).

Thanks
The price is pretty good right now but I'm an RFDer haha
I'm kind of excited about going on a train that can go 300KM/Hour

Plus having to be there 2 hours before and waiting in line at check-in, security ad the gate. The train not only becomes cheaper but, much faster.
Being an RFDer is good but sometimes you out smart yourself, waiting for the deal can make you miss the opportunities. Booking early is best. Up to 4 months in advance.

While 300 kms/hr is fast, the only real time you notice is when you slow down to 100 or so when going past a station LOL._______________
I have never failed...I just found 1000 new ways that didn't work....

Yup booking as early as possible saves you the most money on the Eurostar.
As another member posted 69 pounds return is pretty cheap. It's only a 2hr 10min train ride, makes no sense to fly.

I don't know if you can say much faster. There will be a small difference. One summer a friend and I left our friend's apartment near London Eye to go to Paris. I flew into CDG and she took the train to Gare du Nord. The bet was on to see who would arrive first. I got there sat down to have a drink and her train pulled in. The difference was about 10 minutes in my favor.
PS The train only does 300km/hr on the French side. Apparently the British side doesn't have the rails for it and the Chunnel can't support the speeds.

That would explain why I was able to get there faster than the train. I was there in 2005.
