Everything For A Dollar Store closing one of four Calgary locations
23 store closures across the country
CALGARY HERALD AUGUST 29, 2012
CALGARY — Everything For A Dollar Store is closing one of its four Calgary locations — part of 23 closures across the country as the discount retail chain rebrands itself.
Century Services Inc., in a news release, said it has been engaged by the company to conduct the liquidation of all the inventory in the 23 locations.
The Calgary store, which is shutting down, is located at 4889 130th Ave. S.E.
The news release said the store closings will allow the company to rebrand and open five new locations next month with 12 more in the New Year.
Jamie Dunbar, of Century Services, said the new stores will have a new format, bigger space and a bigger selection.
The retail chain’s head office is in Markham, Ontario.
Besides Calgary, other store closures will be in Abbotsford, Courtenay, Duncan, Kamloops, Langley, Nanaimo, Prince George, Vernon, Edmonton, Ajax, Brampton, Cobourg, Milton, Mississauga, Toronto, Whitby, Windsor, Halifax, Fredericton and St. John.
