Exchanging Video Games w/o Receipt
Wondering if anyone knows a store that will allow me to exchange unopened games without receipt. I know Best Buy used to but i have tried lately and it seems they have changed their policy. Surprisingly Walmart said they also require a receipt for games. I'm not looking for refund or anything, I just want to exchange for other titles, any advice?

Why do you think Walmart and other places don't allow it any more. Because of people like YOU. Now honest people have to live with crappy return policies.

I would suggest that you try exchanging them at the place they were purchased that way there would be no confusion about the amount of credit you recieved for the games.

They aren't clearance titles, they are 2009 sports games I was given and which I've never seen discounted anywhere, so chill out.
BTW I don't even know what TCSS is.

As long as you tell the place that you are trying to return them that they were given to you then there would be no problem with you phoning around to see if someone will do it for you. If you don`t tell them the truth then it is fraud. If you are unwilling to be honest then I would suggest you see what you can get from somewhere like EB.

The OP would not need a receipt if he went to EB and asked for trade in value. Sure they would only give trade in value but since the OP said they were given the games then they are still getting something for nothing and they are not commiting fraud.

trade in value is next to nothing, hed get more in the BST forums, if he were to sell his 2009 sports titles for half of the retail price, it would still be three times more then trade in value. this way he isnt commiting fraud either

I agree with all of this. As long as the OP is not walking into a store and in any way making them think the games were puchased at that store so that full credit can be gained it is legit. Sell them as new if they are new just be honest about where they came from.
