asus rma is horrendously(sp?) slow...they don't reply emails, nor care and my last asus rma was 2 years ago....took a month and a bit just to receive a replacement...the store i bought it from had to send it back to taiwan...Originally Posted by Sheky

Experience with RMA to Asus?
My MB is fried. It won't even post. What sort of steps do I have to take to RMA the board to Asus? I've done all the standard tests already. (e.g.stripping it and booting it with min amount of items.) I emailed them yesterday but I haven't gotten any reply. Is the whole process relatively pain free? Experience with Asus RMA anyone?

really? from the ASUS threads on RFD, most people seem happy with most RMA from ASUS
I had a A8V Deluxe, a capacitor(?) was broken, and got RMA'ed (pretty sure under a month).
I called them, then later received e-mail with RMA #

I actually just RMA'd a A7N8X-DX mobo. Went to the website, followed the links and got a reply with an RMA number the next day. My only issue is, I have to send it to the states, and its going to be sorta expensive (30 or more). I am trying to decide if I will be able to sell the board when it gets back or not.
Seemed rather painless so far!_______________

That's the bad thing...RMAs take forever and need to go to America and their RMA dept seems to be barebones pardon the pun haha.

What are you talking about? I get my RMA number in 24 hours everytime I do RMA with them. So far, I've done over 20 for people around me, and generally it takes 2 weeks for them to send back the item. Perfect RMA process.
