exterior pot lights recomendations in GTA?

Looking for a nice warm not to bright option to put on the house. Figure cost is around 1000-1500 or so. Would want them controlled by a timer switch.

Prob 50 KW or 3000 KJ and be warm colored (sort of yellow) to avoid that bright spotlight look some houses have.

Anyone have any input

My neighbour just had his house done, I think he said it was $125 per light.

Height of house, potlight type and total perimeter area(total number of lights) play roles in cost. You also want someone whose going to get the work ESA certified.

Prices range from $80-$120 a light.

I used a guy to do exterior lights, did a great job at about $90 per pot light. Jacky at (647) 295-7827.

Do NOT hire this guy unless you want some hack doing your potlights. I remember him from a friends facebook post rant and he only wanted cash payment. Turns out he is not a licensed electrical contractor nor does he have liability insurance.

To each his own I suppose, we were satisfied with his work. Couple of the led bulbs went out after a year and he came back to replace them free of charge. Not a clean job on my porch (untidy with screwing on the porch ceiling back) but other than that no complaints.

He's still working illegally and should be put in jail. You're lucky he didn't fall off his ladder and sue you.

Were you able to get ESA certificate in case your house burns down because of faulty wiring?

If you can see it's not a clean job, imagine the other areas you cannot see. I would avoid.
