External hard drive case

I have 2 hard drives from old / not running laptops, what kind of case do I need for these hard drives?
Will a cheap case off ebay be fine, or do I need to look for something specific, like having it's own power supply?

Do I need 2.5" or 3.5" in size?

Laptop = 2.5". You will have to find out if its IDE or SATA first.

Other places to buy include webstores like dealextreme. You can buy local and save the hassle of waiting for shipping.

But some enclosures require more power than just the one cable. I had one that needed the USB cable that I could plug into multiple ports in order to draw enough power.

I agree with Dealextreme. Unless you need it quickly you can probably buy one there for a few bucks.
