Hey guys I think I drove home on a flat. I'm not sure because I didn't notice the flat until the next time I tried to drive. During the drive home I hit speeds up to 80. Is my tire and rim dead? Should I just pump up the tire or do I need a visit to a mechanic? And lastly I got a tire rotation the day before yesterday, should I complain?

in vancouver?

apartment only have a small space to fit in this 72 x 32 x 27 appliance, but I am looking for something _smaller_. which brand is good?

Image: http://i.imgur.com/4bQANOC.jpg

been using this whirlpool combo washer for 15 years, and it has leaked 3 times and been repaired twice. even if I replace another part, the rest of the parts are still 15 years old and will probably break sooner or later anyway.

since I only have 1 power socket and limited space, I can only go for this particular design, not the cheaper laundry pairs.

I have already looked around, and even though Sears seem to have cheaper price online, they only sell their display units which has been messed around with a lot. some of the knobs don't even work properly, and the dryer doors are stuck.

so where can I find cheap brand new washers which has been in storage and not messed around with?

GSP defends his title Nov 16th in Vegas against Johny Hendricks.
Very tough fight, Hendricks has a very good chance to win with his big left KO power and wrestling.
Could be the end of Pierre's reign but if anyone can adapt to a dangerous situation, it's GSP. Read his book Way of the Fight and he's an amazing person who is very smart.

Certain items i was looking at, the item was cheaper than the shipping, for small items!

Ebay just looks like one big ripoff now. At least at a first glance after having not been on for about 6 months...

School me on Leveraging

I know the definition of leveraging... but how does one use this information as practical knowledge. Someone that sold me insurance worked up my financial profile and told me that I would benefit from leveraging / investing.. I only purchased insurance from them and nothing else as I was already pretty set on going couch potato at the time.

Now I'm curious, do I just go to the bank and ask to borrow lots of money for a long period of time and just use this borrowed money to invest in whatever I like?

I'm assuming that the bank they would expect a certain % of interest as well, are these in line with the 'prime' rates (~3%)? or... am I completely off

where can i print a tabloid? like autotrader?

Hi,

I want to print about 52~80 pages tabloid magazine,
I know some places, but none of them can print like autotrader.

Quality is not so much of an issue because it will be free distribution,
i need something cheap.

Do you know where autotrader or like those free magazines off the street can be printed?
I was quoted $6500 for 5000 copies of 52pg on 60lb

anything cheaper? maybe?

Not sure which section is best to post this, question about propane and CO2.

This probably belongs in off topic, but I will probably get trolled there, might belong in home and garden but it is more of a chemistry question. I am putting it here for sake of putting somewhere.

Suppose I made like a flame thrower using propane, basically a long metal tube connected to a propane tank, the flame will never reach the propane inside the tank because there is no O2 in the tank and no O2 in the plumbing nearest to the tank, is that correct? I am not making a flame thrower, I am looking to build something else and I want to make sure the propane tank does not explode if there is an accidental spark.

Suppose I mix propane and pure CO2 together in a tank, and using the flame thrower setup from above, will the flame never reach the tank because there is no O2 present or will the CO2 donate O2 and make the flame reach the tank and explode?

Stuff To Do with NFC Tags

I got my NFC tags yesterday from Tagger and true to their word it was 2-4 day shipping

Here is a quick glance of things I've found pretty cool:

There's an app called "NFC TagWriter by NXP" (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nxp.nfc.tagwriter&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5ueHAubmZjLnRhZ3dyaXRlciJd) that I've found to be somewhat more "technical" than NFC Task launcher. I don't know why they didn't recommend that as well but whatever. You can make vCards and URLs that command your phone to open those shortcuts.

Another cool app that I've found is called "NFC TagInfo" (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=at.mroland.android.apps.nfctaginfo&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImF0Lm1yb2xhbmQuYW5kcm9pZC5hcHBzLm5mY3RhZ2luZm8iXQ..). It gives all the information about the tag your using and it's actually quite useful for finding out how much space you have left (there is only 144 bytes lol!).

What things have you guys done with your tags? I still have 1 left and I think I'll program it to pair my bluetooth car OBD reader.
