Damn, that's harsh....
I always thought the ticket could get thrown away if you showed up with your license at a police station.....

Failure to Produce license ticket (Alberta)
I just got a "Failure to produce license" ticket tonight. $174
Do I not have 24 hours to show the cops my license?? I thought the fine would be dropped if I could produce a license within 24 hours.
Anyone know if this is true. The cop didn't say a single word to me, expect letting me know what ticket I had.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Kaddy_______________

geez, go to the police station within 24 hours and show them your license. Tell them you forgot your wallet in the other pants. They can, and normally do, negate the ticket. If they say tough, then ask for the officers name that you showed it to , get a date and time you were there and if you need to go to court, then you can say you produced it within 24 hours but for some reason they did not want to see it.
Oh, by the way, you do have a license to show?

as for the speeding ticket, did he have radar on u? take it to court and if it the cop doesn't show up(mostl likely he won't), its withdrawn
plus i bet the courtdate will b like a year from now
