wow that's interesting..how come you never list the channels at the website for iptv? want to see what kind of channel do they have..
It's basically what you get with DirectTV, which is illegal in Canada unless you are a US citizen.

It means a different source of programming on one machine, like Direct TV, Dish Network or different ethnic programming packages etc... which are on different servers from the IPTV provider.
Get two different sources or more with one MAC address etc...

A dedicated IPTV box like the MAG250 or MAG254 is the best solution, but it cost as much as a full fledged Android box and is not as versatile.
Any recommended sellers for the MAG254 in Canada? I see Angel Electronics has it for $97.50.

Yeah, except the free stalker emulators all seem mediocre, I may shell out for a MAG. However, now debating if I should wait for the mysterious, 1 year delayed, MAG 256/257 which supports HEVC compression and 4K video or just go for the tried and true MAG 254.

In the same boat. Im looking to get an tv box and just pay for a sub. Is the mag 254 the best option? Was going to stop by angel electronics and check it out. They also have the mag 260 for a little more.

I picked up the MAG 254 today, video quality with the provider I'm using is very good. MAG 260 uses an emulator for video, it is not as stable as the MAG 254.

Another option is to use KODI w/ IPTV plugins, but they're still in their infancy - most plugins are <1 year old.

You know what's funny, these "illegal" service are MORE stable and better quality than VMEDIA!

Do you guys recommend using a STB like the MAG 254 or getting something like the Nexus Player and using STB Emulator or Kodi?

Will there be a noticeable performance difference using an emulator vs. the MAG? I know IPTVSubs sucks using the Kodi plugin.
Brown ahead for Bure. Bure going in.. he scores! Pavel Bure has won it for the Vancouver Canucks! It's a triple overtime hat-trick for Vancouver!

If you want to pay and want the Regular Joe's channel flipping experience of cable with less versatility then MAG254, if you are technically inclined and hate paying the robbers and want to do other things like a PC then an Android STB is your answer. IPTV boxes are one trick ponies like cable STB/PVR boxes !

An old thread I'm bumping up as I don't want to start new one. I'm looking for suggestions to get Fairchild other than through Rogers for my parents. What are you guys using?
