Thanks. Prices varies depending on day. Looks like $25 for an adult pass on Thursday, if you buy in advance. Would this be fun for two kids 6 and 8?

It depends. The event is held at the MTCC and that means a lot of stairs/escalators down to the levels of the Expo. If the children are fans of certain shows/comics/anime and like seeing people in costumes, they might last a couple of hours. If you don't know the kids well or their interest in shows or what spooks them (they are kids), some costumes or panels or activities might cause some distress or upset.
I'd advise looking at the schedule for the day you intend to go and see what kid-appeal activities or panels are also on. What interests you might not appeal to their sense of time (is it time to go?), so plan something for you something for them plus allow time for line ups to whoever or wherever you need to go. Make sure to get a map if you need to find a bathroom quickly for them!
