Hey Folks,
So I am looking for some info on pens. It will be a wedding gift for the groom. I'm looking at spending $150-$250 max.
I would be very thankful If you could recommend brands, specific models and online or local (to Ottawa) locations where I can buy.
TIA

Waterman maybe but Mont Blanc $250 pens would be a little plain. Try Visconti, and get a bulk deal.

You can search at "The Ottawa Fountain Pen Society". There is a good number of fancy fountain pens. You can choose any fountain pen from there and gift the groom.

I'd definitely get the Lamy 2000 fountain pen. It has a nice nib, classic design, and is overall great in quality. Check out eBay or the sales section on The Fountain Pen Network.

Don't want to shoot you down or anything, but a pen isn't the most exciting wedding gift.

ITA. We're not in the 19th century any more. Would anyone really be excited about getting a fountain pen nowadays? If the groom is under 30 which I'm asuming he is, I seriously doubt it.
Your pen will just get stored in a drawer and maybe get seen a decade or two later._______________

Thanks a lot for the suggestions guys I ended up buying a Mont blanc
Also for everyone wondering, I know a pen is not exciting. I also am not the one gifting this, I was seeking advice for a family member. For what its worth the pen is accompanied with a watch as well.
