Didn't batteries revive themselves when put in the freezer? Or was that only for a particular kind?

FAST Replacement batteries?
Okay so... I am going on a trip on the 28th and I will be bringing my camera. I'm having a problem with my batteries. It seems recently that they aren't able to hold a charge. They are both replacement batteries... I forget from where, but they were cheap and lasted much longer than the originals.
What can I do now? I don't wanna go out and buy a $50 original Canon, and I need an alternative by the 28th before I go. Any ideas?
Its an NB2L battery...
Edit: OR does anyone have any suggestions how I might "fix" or "improve" my current battteries? Frankly I'm quite surprised they don't hold a charge very well. On the other hand, it IS possible that the camera's battery sensor or something is wrong...Last edited by Kaitlyn2004; Dec 24th, 2006 at 05:55 PM.
