time to replace that sucker. Looks like its from the 40s.

faucet leaking
The faucet is leaking, after I remove the handle, it seems there is no way to take the stem out, any suggestion how to do it? please see the picture below.

I would guess to take a wrench at the cartridge (not sure of terminology) - the brass hex-shaped part - should come out.
Or do you mean it's seized?

Spend the 20 bucks and buy a new faucet. It will save you time and money in the long run

If you don't want to see the whole video fast forward to 1:35 and see how to remove it. If it's more difficult to remove then in the video then you may consider replacing the whole faucet.

i would make sure to replace the seats when you redo the cartridge... so you don't have to take it all apart when they it leaks again in a few weeks...
that video that maymy* showed is excellent... do that...

you mean you can unscrew stem but could move out the pocket?
or you could not even unscrew the stem. did you drain water before unsxrew the stem? Check it is left or right hand threaded because hot and cold rotate opposite if it is old models.
