At fault Accident, Other driver has no insurance.

Let's say my friend slid in the snow and hit an uninsured driver, what should happen to my friend? Should he pay for damages, Should he laugh at the other person, who is paying who here? legally not morally.

Which province are we talking about first? In ontario your own insurance covers you basically.

Happened to my boy, he even shook his hand and thanked him. LOL

Lose the friend bit

Legally, be on your way.

Morally, take the bloke out for a pint as restitution.
deleted to keep the site family friendly. Was about copping sick fadez.
Well there's no sick fadez left to be copped now that the regimen cannot be admired in all its glory
RIP sick fadez.

Love how these kind of threads are always 'friends'. You know because the friend is completely incompetent and can't sign up on RFD.

Hah, tell the guy to report it to cops... they'll really like the part where he's driving uninsured.

Morally you should not pay this guy, legally, who cares. 100% his fault for not having insurance. Nice to see karma working for once.

It's actually a criminal offense to not have insurance !
Your friend should sue his pants off and say he hit him instead !
