Favorite Christmas Cartoon & Song??
It's that time of year to nominate your favorite Christmas Cartoon and Song.
I like the original Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, especially the scary parts surrounding the Abombinal Snowman. That used to scare the the bejeezes out of me.
A local radio station (Toronto EZ Rock 97.3) has been playing Christmas songs since November 25 and I think I've heard pretty much every Santa tune out there!!
Though I pretty much like them all, I turn up the radio when they play any thing from the Trans Siberian Orchestra. The instrumental songs are unbelievable!! (Side note: I've download a few from Kazaa but they never seem to actually play?!? Something wrong with the file I guess. Any thoughts on that??)
I also like:
What Child Is This - Arthrea Franklin
Christmas Shoes
Old Tin Star by John McDermott
Mary Did You Know by Kenny Rogers & Wynonna Judd (new version by Kalen Porter isn't as good IMHO)
Santa Claus is Coming to Town - Bruce Springstien
Tell us your favourites!!
And MOD's - please leave this thread here in Off-Topics!!

The original The Grinch that Stole Christmas (not the stupid Jim Carrey version) is bar far the best Christmas flick IMO....
Favorite Christmas tune would be Belleau Wood by Garth Brooks._______________

Favourite christmas cartoon was "Frosty the Snowman"! With the evil Professor always trying to steal his hat, and then trapping him in the greenhouse and frosty melting.

I like Elvis' rendition of "Here Comes Santa Claus"
I also like Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire; used to like Christmas Shoes but got isck of it. Other favs for me include Drummer Boy.
But all time favorite must be Bobby Helms - Jingle Bell Rock. I've been listening to it even during non-Xmas time and I never got sick of it. Ever.
