Feedback About A Used Hyundai Tucson or Kia Sportage

So after doing extensive research I have decided that a good vehicle for me in my price range is a used 2006 or 2007 Hyundai Tucson or a Kia Sportage.

I know both vehicles are built on the Elantra platform which is rated as one of the best used cars from 2001 through 2006. I am in the market for a CSUV rather than just a sedan.

So far the used prices for these vehicles have been all over the map. I am having trouble pinning down what I should be paying.

I am looking at either a 4 Cyl 2.0 or the 6 Cyl 2.7 in FWD with just basic interior so the GL package.

I am thinking that I should be able to get a 2006 Sportage for about $10k with at most 85,000 km and a 2006 Tucson for about $10.5k to $11k with at most 85,000 km.

What do you guys think about my price ranges? Am I expecting to get either of these cars for too little??
