Feedback on Superior Window Films/ Auto-Edge Oakville

Has anyone had any dealings with Auto-Edge in Oakville?
They do rustproofing, detailing and the clear bra installations.
I got a quote from them for the Venture Shield clear film protection for my car and the price was good, but sometimes a good price doesn't always mean a good job.

Yes they do a great job, prices a great too, way better than dealerships. They've been in business for over 30 years, you don't stay in business that long by doing a bad job at things.

Oh I am definitely getting it installed and AutoEdge prices are very competitive, so will likely be going with them.

Yes they are very good, I had my car done with the Venture Shield film 2 years ago and they did a full custom wrap covering 1/2 of the hood and fenders, full bumper, mirrors housings, and headlights.

I got hit by a road debri in April which smashed my front bumper, insurance covered the replacement of the bumper, Joe at Superior did the clear bra film again, and I got him to install the window tint as well.

They are a very good outfit!

How much did you pay for window tinting?

I just got a quote from them - and they are more expensive than Audio Heaven and Thornhill Tints - by almost $100. I like that they're located in the West end, but I'm not sure if I want to pay that much of a premium.

What did they quote you?

AutoEdge is VERY good, it is less than 5 minutes from my house so it helps, they also installed the mole-skin felt to prevent scratches, Gino is their main tint person and he took very good care while doing the work.

I also had the VentureShield stoneguard film installed by them, twice now since the original bumper they installed the film on two years ago (which still looked perfect) was smashed by a two pound metal casting another car ran over........., I had the repair done at CarStar Oakville West and they arranged AutoEdge to install the VentureShield film while I still had the rental car.

They may not be the cheapest, but they do good work, so I'm happy to compensate them for the good work they do.

I was quoted $299 plus tax, vs $220 and $250 (inclusive) for Audio Heaven and Thornhill Tints.

I'll give them a call, too - I'd much prefer to stay in Mississauga or Oakville rather than trekking out to Richmond Hill or wherever.

No I haven't done anything yet - I'm hoping to, but I have to find some time to do a bit more research.

I had my Pontiac G8 GT done by Joe and the guys at AutoEdge and they took very good care of me and my car. Excellent customer service and competitive pricing. I highly recommend them. They use Ventureshield which has a lifetime warranty...the 3M clear bra does not.

I paid $800 for the complete Ventureshield kit, minus full hood and fenders and a couple of custom pieces.

I didn't get a tint.
