Please direct me to the right thread if this isn't where I should post, but I'm currently a Bell customer who is going to change to Koodo, Fido, or Chatr in Ontario. I've bought a OnePlus 3 so it will be a BYOP deal. Any suggestions as to which plan is best? I'm hoping to spend around $50/month.

Best depends on what you need. Outright, probably Public Mobile.Dman David wrote: ↑Oct 4th, 2016 1:15 pmPlease direct me to the right thread if this isn't where I should post, but I'm currently a Bell customer who is going to change to Koodo, Fido, or Chatr in Ontario. Unless of coures you want to jump through a couple of hoops, there's always the Koodo MB/SK plan.

There may be some decent Black Friday plans like last year at the end of November.

I called in inquiring about why I didn't qualify for the 1gb free for 2 months and they gave me 1 GB free per month for 1 year. I would have been nice if they gave me 2gb like they did for you....ma678 wrote: ↑Sep 16th, 2016 11:30 pmYes, it is. I got 2gb added on $50 byod effective my next billing cycle last night. I received 1gb last moth, too.nguyenjmj86 wrote: ↑Sep 16th, 2016 10:03 pmSupposedly, the bonus data is not compatible with these $45/$50 plans. I've tried numerous times

A rep was also surprised when she checked my account today because those bonuses were not supposed to be stacked.nguyenjmj86 wrote: ↑Oct 11th, 2016 9:36 pmI called in inquiring about why I didn't qualify for the 1gb free for 2 months and they gave me 1 GB free per month for 1 year. I just signed up and got the $45 BYOP 2GB plan. Enquired about additional bonus data, but rep said this is retention plan and not qualify for bonus data.
But when I logged in just now... I noticed 5GB??
What gives?

Were you at 5gb before? Maybe it's slow to update and you have to wait until your next billing cycle to see your actual limit. The same thing happened to me, went from 2 to 3, but had to wait a month to see it. If not, congrats on getting 5gb! You can call to confirm, they can tell you what you're really at.adforme343 wrote: ↑Oct 18th, 2016 5:42 amI just signed up and got the $45 BYOP 2GB plan. New public mobile plan out destroys this. Just thought I'd let Fido folks know.
Until Nov 25 you can get 4gb data / unlimited provincial calling for $40 a month
