I called and asked ... no such luck. I think I'm going to try again sometime next week, looks like the good sales start then! (normally)

It seems I've been billed for overage over 2 GB for the last couple of months despite the fact it's a 2 GB + 2 GB plan.
Check your bills folks.

With her plan she wouldn't have gone over anyway.
BTW, mine was a $56 2 GB plan with 2 GB bonus. I had used 2.5 GB and was charged for 0.5 GB overage.
I had to Live Chat to get those reversed even though my account said I had 4 GB and didn't go over. It seems their data usage tracking page and their data billing aren't directly linked.

That seems like archaic system. You would think by now it would all be linked.EugW wrote: ↑Nov 25th, 2016 8:10 amWith her plan she wouldn't have gone over anyway.

Thanks for the heads up though. Didn't think they would mess up the bonus data part. I manually pay each month so if it's more than the usual payment, I look into the details.

Tried to get the 3GB version of this plan via chat and they wouldn't offer it to me. Currently have the 2 GB version.

This is still rolling, got the 3GB plan today (took two tries though... first rep said I wasn't targeted because I hadn't bought a device recently)

But Public has significantly lower speeds than fidoadamtheman wrote: ↑Oct 25th, 2016 3:03 pmNew public mobile plan out destroys this. Just thought I'd let Fido folks know.
Until Nov 25 you can get 4gb data / unlimited provincial calling for $40 a month
Here is the RFD thread: public-mobile-limited-time-4gb-40-plan- ... h-2050037/
Im on a grandfathered plus10 plan $60/6gb with $10/1gb overages and i get a small subsisdy on phones so i think ill still keep this plan even though i would love a $45/4gb

I disagree as I was with Rogers for 15+ years and when I switched to the Pubic Mobile 4G for $38 in December my speeds are way faster with Public (Telus). No comparison.

Hard to disagree with someone one this since both of you are using your devices in different geographical areas. He very well may get better Rogers coverage than Telus coverage in his area.Kimberlee1 wrote: ↑Mar 12th, 2017 10:04 amI disagree as I was with Rogers for 15+ years and when I switched to the Pubic Mobile 4G for $38 in December my speeds are way faster with Public (Telus).
