I've never ported a line before but here's the scenario:

- I have my own line
- My wife has a line with Fido (separate account)

Can I add her line to my account and get in on the deal?

Thanks.

I spoke with LiveChat and the agent confirmed I could add the new line and once we received the SIM I could call/chat and get my wife's existing Fido number ported over to the account. I was very clear she had an existing Fido number.

Seen this the other day and ported wife's line in as her Koodo plan was not that great and they were not seeming to want to offer her any improvement.

Something probably happened to your account before or you've made unusual changes recently.
Thanks. They cleared it for me and I just added a new $45 for 6GB line.

I am guessing this is not possible for a new customer.

Any decent deals for a new customer (new line, BYOD, no port)

I got the same plan from Koodo yesterday as a win back since I left them last week. I tried calling retentions before porting out but they wouldn't budge and after I left they gave me this 6GB for $45 or 8GB for $50, plus $10 discount for 15 months and 1000 min. LD which includes US along with the usual China, India, Turkey, Australia, Germany, Italy etc.

No. Choose a company, find a winback offer, then port out.

I have a tablet plan with Fido and I see this offer on my acct, so I think I can avail of the promo... however, it only allows me to add one at a time... has anyone added more than one line to their account? I'm just worried if I sign up for one line, that it won't allow me to do for the other two lines...
OK, just did this... I was able to add 3 lines, one at a time... so I guess there is no limit to how many lines you can add to your account... Once I get my sim, I will have to call Fido to port my numbers to cancel my Bell acct...

For info sharing purposes:

Primary account: Fido migration plan from a few years ago, 5gb/$40.

I had the option to add a line with the 6/45, and did it successfully for another line I previously had with Koodo (4/45). Koodo was not willing to match when I spoke with retentions (well they were, but wanted to charge an admin fee, whereas here there’s no sim or activation fees if you do online).

Will see if Koodo win back has something once I port out.

Thanks OP.... just got my confirmation email from Fido, they activated the 3 add-on lines I added to my Tablet only plan... once I get my SIM cards, I can port out off my current plan with Bell (which is basically same amount, as I got a $65 + 35 + $35 for 8GB Family Shared plan with free Manitoba only calling)... I'm basically paying same amount, but at least now we don't have to share the 8GB and we get 6GB each... plus now I will be able to get the deals for Tablets and freebies that they offer to Fido subscribers that I usually get denied for because I only have a tablet plan...

AFAIK All Fido Pulse BYOD Plans are LTE speed.

If 5gb is sufficient, then I’d suggest taking it given it’s already available.

If you don’t mind waiting another 35 days, you can try the virgin migration plan at $40/6gb.
