Fido BYOD Pulse plans: Crazy Bad Prices?

Has anyone notice Fido's Pulse plans are priced so bad? It seems like after the Freedom Mobile price match thread, they are not willing to discuss Freedom Mobile at all. I've been a 10+ year customer and they wouldn't even give me an extra 1Gb. Their current BYOD Pulse plan is $65 for 1Gb. I've been out of the market for a bit, but I know that's a bad price. Thoughts anyone?

These plans looks pricey a bit
I actually signed up my 2 years term with Fido with iPhone 7, my plan is $65/mo as well, but it's with 4G data and unlimited mins. Besides that paid for iPhone 7.

That's why I'm not on a Pulse plan. Their non-Pulse BYOD plans are often quite good though. My wife gets 5 GB for $50 per month, and I get 6 GB for $54 per month (although the latter 6 GB plan is $60 minus 10% because it's a second line).

The only thing about a Pulse plan that I like is Fido Roam (which allows US roaming using your existing data bucket, for $5 per day), but the price premium to get a Pulse plan just isn't worth it. It's cheaper to just get a travel pack as necessary when I travel and add it to my non-Pulse plan, since the non-Pulse plans are so much cheaper and I don't travel to the US that much.

Call in or use the online chat. My gf easily used online chat to get $50 5gb plan back in late February.

These new prices are absurd.

I'm very happy with Rogers, but I had to bundle my services to get the best deal.
Perhaps now that Fido has internet you might get a better deal combining with them??

She just said she thinks her plan is too expensive and that her friend got the $50 5gb plan. She wonders if she can get the same etc etc. It was pretty straight-forward at the time and did not require jumping through many hoops.

Many thanks, will give it a try.
