Hey everyone, I called my local apple store (Fairview) and inquired if they do hardware upgrades (and the renewing of contracts) on site and the lady on the phone told me that they "should." But wouldn't give me a "Yes" answer.
I proceeded to ask her that if the Apple store does do HUP's for the Iphone 4 for Fido, are we able to use our Fido dollars.. and than she said "probably not."
How true is this? She sounded unsure. I called Fido and they told me to call Apple and when I called Apple, nobody knew what the answer was.
In short: Can we do HUP's for the Iphone 4 at the Apple store for Fido using Fido dollars?

One thing for certain is, no one knows a damn thing. Don't bother talking to a employee at a carrier or Apple because I assure you, one will tell you differently than the other and none being an authority.
Safest bet is to call and order at Fido tomorrow morning to use your Fido Rewards and get the lowest price. Hopefully you'll have it in a week or less. I'm in the same boat but I'm going to the Apple store to get one and then go back to each carrier to see who can give me the best deal (along with a $500 credit) but also knowing I have $80 in Fido rewards. Update: Just called Apple directly.. one rep told me that they will do upgrades at Fairview with Fido FOR SURE but you might not be able to use Fido dollars. He wasn't too sure... Bleh!

Like I said in the other thread...I was in the 3G launch and our store only had less than 10.
My fd works for a Rogers store and they are getting 10.
