How does Fido Internet compare to bell and Rogers? Same, better, worse? I just want reliability. Have not had issues with Rogers but like the unlimited aspect of this.

How do I get 3 months free being existing customer? I am on 60mbps (if I recall the speed correct) and $60 from late last year that offered 3 months free at that time.

Find it better than Rogers( I believe Rogers modem was partially to blame). On speed check app, it shows 80-100mbps wifi connection 80% of the time I check.
Read in forums that this used Rogers cable service, but in my experience service improved 2 folds for me as soon i switched, both speed and reliability.
As far modem goes, only did power reset about 5 times in last 11 months.

I'm with Rogers, and also have constant issues with their modem. Power reset weekly at least.
At first thought it was my computer or router, but now realize it is the modem.
Still worth the inconvenience to stay with them for my unlimited plan.
No issues with speeds, up or down.

too much hassles just to get 2/3 months free, if you don't stay you have to look for another ISP and book an appointment to install etc.
If i remember correctly last time they did this 3 month free i had to contact them and asked the status of the account credit (had to pay first and taxes not included), waste of time.
If they seriously want people to stay they should offer a better price after 3 months,
it's not like they are losing money if they offer $40 to $50 per month when other small players can do it.

They did a similar promo before and not a lot of people stayed after.
With ads everywhere do they think people wouldn't find out after 3 months that $65/mo for internet is not a good deal?
But of course there will be portion of people who forget to cancel and have to pay 1 or 2 months of $65.

I am just opposite, with Fido about a year, needed power reset every a few days, switched Rogers a couple of weeks ago, haven't power reset yet (knocking the wood). Rogers gave me the "IGNITE" modem, not sure if it's new. But it looks different than the one I had before.
