If you switch from Fido to Rogers, you are not eligible for this Winback offer, that’s what the rep told me...
Old news. This is in the thread multiple times.

Since Fido is owned by Rogers and is considered a “discount” division, there is absolutely no reason for Fido to want to win you back from Rogers.

Don’t you think , it’s too much work in order to get several hundred bucks off? And maybe it affects your credit score.

Even I just renewed my contract, I still can change my plan if BF has better plan, right?

Yes you can. You must pay whats left on the owing amount on your phone.

Thats why i think they offer these. To lock people in.
Incase telus/bell matches what they gotta offer for black friday. So the fido peeps cant leave/bounce around

Just my speculation!!!

Whether it’s too much work is up to each person. Saving an extra $500 on the phone and possibly hundreds more with a better plan will be worth it to many.

My credit score is pretty good so I personally wouldn’t be too concerned about a hit.
2015 wins: Trip for 2 to NYC with airfare, limo, hotel and insurance ($3700); Maple Leafs tickets($250); 32GB HTC One M9 ($700), Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1($200), Samsung Galaxy Note 5($850), Aukey 2 port fast car charger($23), Fitbit Flex ($120), Blue Piston Bluetooth Speaker ($30). 2016 wins: nada

I ended up paying $229 plus (24 months x $15 extra compared to previous plan). = about $600 for iPhone X 256gb.

I believe the retail outright price was $1500.

Saved about $900 in my situation.

Just have to do what you gotta do sometimes to get what you want.

None of us wanted to leave and come back. But it was the only way to get a deal like this.

The 24 months of pre authorized payments and credit card payments should build the credit score back up. Lol

Just got a call. $56 for 10gb data. I am not sure if it is worth it though! I am with bell and i get bundle discount and it works out to be 58$ for me. Anyone think otherwise?
Now, i was also offered 7$ value pack (for voice mail and caller id), which comes with few other things such as better rate for LD calls and what not, at $5 discount bringing the total monthly cost to $58.

Those who have been able to switch to the Xs, Have they mentioned or said anything about taking away the winback credit ($500) or charging that next billing cycle once or if it gets flagged?

I've been closely following this thread for a while. I switched both my fido lines to PM recently. One is now on the Koodo $40 8GB migration plan so I'll never touch this, the other is still on Public Mobile $38 4.5GB plan. I considered moving the PM line over to this winback offer because I needed a new phone on the line and this seems to be the best deal (otherwise happy with PM plan).

Got callbacks a few times with subpar offers but today got callback with:
$75 10GB or $67 5GB (unlimited everything else). Free s9+ or $29 iPhone X. Unfortunately no other phone options (asked about Pixel, IPXs, Note 9...)

I took the offer for the IPX hoping to switch the phone when I get it. Anyone with recent experience doing an exchanging who can offer me advice?

rep said I get a $500 credit on my account for the ipx so I assume I'm on an XL plan since the pricing matches in market plans.

After a lot of drama I wasn't able to grab the iPhone Xs so my final offer looks like this

97.77 for iphoneX 64GB
67.5 Monthly plan for 5GB

67.5/month for 8GB

The free 3GB add-on is YMMV.

Got call yesterday.. only offered 300 credit and 20% off their promotion plan. They also increased iPhone c price . So 64gb costs 229 , 256gb cost 429 after 300 credit..
