Got call yesterday.. only offered 300 credit and 20% off their promotion plan. They also increased iPhone c price . So 64gb costs 229 , 256gb cost 429 after 300 credit..
The price of the phone did not change.
But unfortunately they only offered you $300 credit instead of $500.
I also got 25% off the $100xl plan. (13gb)

A month ago when I was called I was offered iPhone X 64 for $29 or iPhone X 256 for $229.

I believe if you ported out within 90 days, you are offered $500. Over that, it's $300, unless more than a year in which case it's a dice roll whether you get any offer at all.
2015 wins: Trip for 2 to NYC with airfare, limo, hotel and insurance ($3700); Maple Leafs tickets($250); 32GB HTC One M9 ($700), Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1($200), Samsung Galaxy Note 5($850), Aukey 2 port fast car charger($23), Fitbit Flex ($120), Blue Piston Bluetooth Speaker ($30). 2016 wins: nada

I've been closely following this thread for a while. I switched both my fido lines to PM recently. One is now on the Koodo $40 8GB migration plan so I'll never touch this, the other is still on Public Mobile $38 4.5GB plan. I considered moving the PM line over to this winback offer because I needed a new phone on the line and this seems to be the best deal (otherwise happy with PM plan).

Got callbacks a few times with subpar offers but today got callback with:
$75 10GB or $67 5GB (unlimited everything else). Free s9+ or $29 iPhone X. Unfortunately no other phone options (asked about Pixel, IPXs, Note 9...)

I took the offer for the IPX hoping to switch the phone when I get it. Anyone with recent experience doing an exchanging who can offer me advice?

rep said I get a $500 credit on my account for the ipx so I assume I'm on an XL plan since the pricing matches in market plans.
Wow you’re lucky. I wasn’t offered the 64GB X at all.

These guys aren’t calling me back at all. I left them 4 voicemails. I’m trying to take advantage of the offer. Cmon man.

Wife ported to Freedom last December and got 64GB IPX for $0 on $63.75 5GB plan. Same Deal for me but I never ported out. Just set my cancellation a week ahead. Winback called same day to retain me then I asked my wife’s number is eligible after my deal was done.

Ported out yesterday evening, got a call today noon. Offered $40 5G plan, took the Huawei P20 pro. $500 credit, need to pay $7 extra as the upgrade fee is $449+tax = $507.37. P20 pro is good enough for me.
Give the same guy info to my co-worker as he got a line ported out a month ago. He called and got the same offer. Took it as well.

They only told me about returning process should go through blackops (I was able to issue the return with retention eventually) but none of them told me about taking credit away or flag

For those wanting a Note 9,

$90 5GB with 20% off
$114 for Note 9 after credit.

This was 2 weeks ago and they barely had any stock.

I recall the other option was 10GB for about $8 more a month.

For those in Quebec, I ported out to Virgin last Friday and got a text from a "Fido Marketing Analyst" Wednesday morning. I was offered iPhone X 64gb for $99+tax or 256gb for $329+tax, with 6gb 60$ plan. I went with the 64gb iPhone the same day, and got the phone delivered on Thursday morning!

Seems like they’re out of stock again.

Are these the plan price or is it a $30 discount? After 2 years, will the price go back up to $90? or higher?
I'd love to write history... in advance.

Im from Quebec, I left Fido for Koodo.
2 days later I got a called from Fido.
I answered and heard nothing on the line for 30 seconds. I hanged up. I called the winback team but im apparently not on the list. It has been around 4 weeks now.

I'm thinking of going back to Fido and leaving again in the hope of getting that deal. Is there a minimum amount of time I should stay? Like one billing cycle?

I got the X 256GB for $49 ($549-$500) and when I processed the return, the XL tab price for X got changed back to $729
I only had to pay the difference with the current price of $729 with the XS price (64GB $659 or 256GB $859) so technically I could get the XS 64GB for free

Overall, XS 256GB for $179 with $67.50/month 5GB+3GB Bonus Data

HUGE THANKS to OP, Red604, thealphaguy and many people who shared their breaking down the details Person With Folded Hands

YMMV

Is it a separate contact number to the one posted by OP?

I've never seen the 256GB version for so low. Sounds like you got a really sweet deal. Congratulations, my friend.
