Koodo was on my short list but they fell off for two reasons:
One was the way they positioned their ads re the SAF - they came across as if this was some mandated fee that they were generous enough to pay on your behalf.
That pissed me right off - I hate nothing more than a merchanttrying to pull a fast one on me.
The other was their tab system - sounds good on the surface but when I looked at the details it's worse than any other cell phone provider out there (I think).
For a fancy phone, you put $150 on the tab (and still pay some amount for the phone. At the 10% credit they give you each month against that $150, (and with a $25 plan), it would take 60 months or five years to pay that off using the tab concept.
Even their cheapest phone at $75.- would take 30 months or 2 1/2 years.
I was actually going to go with DCI Telecom and their $19.95 250 anytime minutes plan; then add VM+CLID for $7.95.
But they didn't have a text package, text is 10 cents a message and I had a hard time finding a nice SIM phone I could buy for under $100.-
So I ended up with Virgin (and the Bell network) which so far seems to work well.
CTI Telecom uses the Fido network.

Meh... it's a warm deal. You could probably get a better deal calling Fido Retentions directly.
I got :
$25/month
150 daytime minutes
Unlimited Evenings & Weekends starting at 7pm
Unlimited Incoming Calls
$15 monthly credit
= $10 + taxes + SAF + 911

well currently i pay 48$ for:
100 min out going
500 incoming
7$ browsing
evenings at 9
Is it possible for me to get the EPP plan and still keep my browsing option? I am 5 months into my contract. Also i have a airmiles card so would that work?
