No charger is require. Just the phone + battery that works.

Yes the phone has to be operational. The csr ensured my trade in powered up.

You can always cancel your existing $15 per month 3gb plan and get the brand new plan. They charge $15 for the new SIM card though. They will probably offer you to keep the original plan for half price.

If you don't need a data plan, it's not much of a deal. iPad Air 2 Wi-Fi 64GB refurbished from Apple is $479 + taxes.

If you need a data plan and planned to pay for data, it's a good deal for sure to get $15 for 3GB and to get a rebate on cellular iPad.

Thanks for sharing.

Nice, I have an iPhone 4 which is not in use.
But I have signed up this 3G data plan already, can I add more than one?

Picked up 32 GB iPad Air 2 from Best Buy
Activated $15/month line
Not a Fido customer; only signed for this tablet plan.
Paid $453 - No Taxes!!!!!!

Super sweet, ah yes, you can add unlimited texting for $10/month.
Best Buy is offering this plan as well? I thought I can only get this at the Fido stores?

Yes

Also at Telephone Booth and other Kiosk stores
Local Telephone Booth was able to offer but somehow they had 16 GB not 32 GB iPad, so skipped.

Anyone confirm if Fido doesn't charge taxes for this or if its just bestbuy? I am willing to trade in an iphone 4 so I believe I'll have to go through the fido store route right?

Also, can I self refer to this plan to make use of an extra $50?

walked in to a Fido store and was told that $100 trade-in is over, that was a promo for balck friday.
and was also told that IPad Air 2 can now be on the easy pay for $18.29 on top of $15 plan each month on 2 year contract.
not willing to waive the $15 activation fee

Showed them the fido website stating the outright price. Since it's currently $769.99 at Best Buy, they beat the fido price by 10% and ended up being $550

Hahahaha. Best Buy employee must not have been informed. That $569 no-term price is still a 2-year contract on the data plan, just means there is no financing term.

YMMV on this price match because it technically isn't the same product with service.

I was able to get this deal too. Thanks OP and thanks Pykes.
BB price matched Fido price. I picked up 128g iPad Air 2 wifi/cell for $550 plus taxes at BB. Excellent deal. Ad under devices on Fido Site says $569 no term for 128g iPad Air 2. BB matched and I didn't have to activate a plan. iPad unlocked. Very happy with deal.

I also got shot down at the BB Toronto Eaton Centre for the 32 GB version. Went back to the office, called in my order, got the CSR to price beat, and received it this afternoon via Canada Post.
