Fight Night Round 4 $39.99 new at EB
Hey this is my first thread I will start at RFD. Just saw new copies of FNR4 for 39.99$ at the EB games in Montreal. They had used copies at 34.99$. This is the price for the PS3 version. I didnt check for 360
I didnt pick one up myself as I am still content with Round 3, but this might be good for those who were looking for this game at a cheap price.
You can save more if you PM at FS since thier still selling for 69.99

good deal on a great game.
Surprised how fast the price dropped since it was just released in June.
Fight Night Round 3 took a while for it to drop, i guess sales have been sluggish since majority of people hated the total punch control.

I bought FNR3 for 15$ and I still find it to be worth the money. It's an easily accessible game that anyone can pick up. But if you bought solely for the single player mode you may be dissappointed, as its just one fight after another fight really. This game gives more value as a multiplayer brawler, I imagine FNR4 is the same case.

Thanks Op
Decent Price on this game.
Being honest I don't really like it though (Got it a while back from rogers for 2 for 40). I already had FNR3 and really liked that one. The graphics are better on this one, and the boxers appeal more to me.
But I found the FNR3 to be more realistic. More bob and weave. If you tried to button mash against an experienced player you got your ass handed to you.
In this one, the person I was playing button mashed and I found I could not be elusive. He was able to keep pressing forward and hitting me. Trying to get away was very difficult.
Personal preference I preferred FNR3 as it was different type of game. FNR4 feels more like a button masher to me. To me button mashers get boring quick.
It should be noted the counter punch mechanism in this game is more prevalent. So there are other differences between the two. And in my match I may not have been good enough at these strategies to destroy a button masher coming forward. So FNR4 may be deeper then my first impression. But out of the box I thought FNR3 seemed much more realistic and strategy orientated.
For 10$ FNR3 is a huge steal IMHO. Even if you don't play it much yourself, having friends over it is a blast.
Knowing what I know now I would not have bought FNR4 since I had FNR3. If you don't have either get one of them at least, lots of fun. I have not investigated FNR4 online ability and didn't go deep in it. But first impressions were disappointing. So for online play you may want to go 4.Last edited by wpgguy99; Nov 4th, 2009 at 11:18 PM.

fnr3 is good for boosting your game score - easy 1000 points
just make a guy thats really good at hitting people in the garbage and you'll tko everyone easy. just do the career mode and get the 1000 in a few hours by ducking and punching in the junk and they will go down fast, just be sure to turn off the disqualify thing in the settings firstLast edited by baconape; Nov 5th, 2009 at 08:30 AM.
