Final Fantasy XIII-2 Pre-order from Amazon.ca

Did anyone else not receive their pre-order copy of this game?

I hate buying pre-orders because they seldom come on time for Canadians, but the bonus Amazon was offering was that we get an additional boss battle if we pre-ordered from Amazon.

Lo and behold, the game still has not arrived, while many others who have bought their game from a store yesterday (Jan 31st) are many hours into their game already.

When I initially made the order, Amazon said in my email receipt to expect arrival on Friday Feb 3rd, but that seemed a bit ridiculously to me. How can a company not ensure that we get our game on release date? I doubt crap like this happens in the U.S., and Amazon.ca would never make people wait if they pre-ordered a Harry Potter book.
Why the heck are they making me (and others) wait? This is B.S.

My order from December 9th has an estimated ship date of Feb. 3rd. I've learned to never expect a new release from Amazon.ca to arrive until at least 2 or 3 days after the release date.
Up until a couple hours ago their product page for the PS3 version said they were temporarily out of stock but I see that its back in stock now.


EDIT: Order has changed to "shipping soon" status. I should have it on Friday if the mailman cooperates.

I received an email from Amaozn.ca early this morning with an Omega boss battle code and pdf mini guide.
I don't remember any bonuses being listed on the product page, I figured they were only for Amazon.com. Oh well....
