Sounds interesting. Can you please list the main benefits to using this service for a buyer?
I see there are no cars listed for sale yet. When do you think they will be available?
If I want to buy a car this way, do I just take over the payments or what else is involved?
I think most people are familiar with how LeaseBusters works, how is the process different?
BTW- I heard your ads on AM640 and a few of our members have been asking about it.
Thx

The nice thing about FinanceBusters is that there will be a great selection of late model "one owner" vehicles to choose from. You can also take advantage of their great finance rates they received (0%!!!). If you finance a used car through the bank right now you are looking at close to 9% in most cases. In some cases the sellers will be offering "Cash Incentives" which is one of the main reasons our LeaseBusters site is so popular.
The process is a little different then with a lease transfer. With a finance transfer it will be very similar to buying a private sale vehicle. There will be some taxes that have to paid once the transfer is done. We are recommending to our customers looking to get out to cover the taxes to increase the chances of someone taking over their finance contract.
The site will launch in June, we are just populating the site so there is a good selection when we launch.
Thanks for the response!

Ok, so let me see if I get it:
1- I buy the car privately by taking over the payments
2- The payments stay the same and were likely based on 0% or 1.9% or whatever it was at the time. So if the seller put a few grand down, I get the advantage of this.
3- Since its a private sale, I pay no GST and the seller might cover the PST, safety cert, emissions test etc.
4- The seller may also offer a cash incentive just like on LeaseBusters.
Did I get it? . . . if so, this doesn't sound like a bad way to pick up a nice 1 or 2 yr old car and save a bundle.
Plus unlike most 1 or 2 year old cars, these are one-owner, not ex rental cars. . . . I can't wait to see the first batch of cars.
Great idea!
Cheers,

CCC Pres, I think you are partially right. It depends who is posting the ad (you probably know this). If it is posted by a dealer or a repo, then you still need to pay the GST.

There will be private and dealers ads on our site....however the vehicle is NOT in the dealerships name so when the ownership is transferred it is handled exactly the same as a private sale in regards to the taxes. Dealers are only representing (taking calls), the vehicles they are still in the original customers name.
CCC pres you are have it bang on!!!!!
