"Find financial help during COVID-19" online tool by Government of Canada

The Prime Minister announced this benefit-finder tool during a daily briefing. This government site is now live to help students, seniors and out-of-work Canadians find out which benefits they can access.

Minister of Digital Government Joyce Murray said in a news release that the tool gives people information on federal, provincial and territorial benefits programs, and mortgage and student loan deferral programs. It will be updated as the government changes the programs or develops new ones.

I tried it out. These are the questions the site asked, my answers and benefits found.

Talk to your employer and coworkers about Employment Insurance (EI) Work-Sharing

Employment Insurance (EI) Work-Sharing does not apply to me since my hours was not reduced by 10 to 60% because of COVID-19.
