Firefox 3 - Alt + S
Alt + S used to be a shortcut which quickly submits the post on forums, but now it does not work. I would like to have it back.....
Anyone know how to get it back? I have tried the content.access in about:config and switched the value with 4 and 5, both not workikng.
thanks

Nope
I use keyboard shortcuts all the time. I hate using the mouse.
Unfortunately, there is no way to use Alt-S to send messages. You have to use ALT-Shift-S to do it now. Not the same thing and a lot harder to do.
So I use IE now for all forums.

I also use Tab-Space or Tab-Tab-Space
I never understood the popularity of the Alt-S shortcut. It feels so unnatural to use.

Natural
ALT-S is very natural. It goes way back. Keys are close together too.
S is for save, so it is easy to remember too.
CTRL V for paste is un-natural.
I originally used Shift-Insert for Paste, good thing it still works. Shift-Delete for Cut
