I'm looking for a FireWire drive to serve as a backup drive for my iMac. I'm thinking a 2TB drive would suffice and I'd like to pay around $200 for it. Any recommendations? So far on my list are:

LaCie d2 Quadra
G-Technology G-Drive
WD My Book Studio II

I'm leaning towards the LaCie but there are reports from the end of last year about this drive's power management not working correctly. I'm hoping this has been resolved via firmware but I can't find any confirmation. Does any one have it and can comment on it? Any other comments or recommendations will be appreciated. TIA.
