I have the Fitbit Charge HR and the button came off after a year.

I had the same thing after more than a year. Contacted Fitbit and they replaced outside of warranty. Was happy with the customer service. But now on the replacement the rubber sides have become unglued above and below the screen and it is bubbled out.

I find it depends on your wife's usage and needs with the device. My parents birthdays fall on the same day. I ended up getting mom an alta hr and dad the charge 2. Turned out to be a good decision because the alta hr was much smaller/lighter, simpler, and easy to use (Mom is the type to struggle with the tv remote input). Dad liked the charge 2 because there were plenty of features and different workout modes on his device. Functionally, the main difference between the 2 devices is that the Charge 2 supports GPS tracking through your phone.

Also, the standard Alta HR had one band colour that I thought mom would like, the Fuchsia.
Thanks. I will likely do the same for my parents on mothers and fathers day.

Don't get the Blaze--it's terrible.
Is there something specific you don't like? I have been a long time FitBit user and always happy with the products. What makes the Blaze terrible?

If you are a Source PSP member, the price is $152.99 for the Fitbit charge 2 / alta HR. And don't forget GCR or ebates. Send me a PM if you want to get access to the PSP program, I don't get any monetary or non-monetary reward from it (so fyi it's not a referral).
Can you combine with the $25 off $100 new sign up promo? Thanks

While I generally agree. Xiaomi canceled my account for no reason and now my Mi band doesn't work at all because it can't connect to a new account. Evem when I remade the account using the same username, I run into the same problem. Now I have a $20 paperweight. There is no way to reset the thing.

Source offers 3 year extended warranty for $39.99 ($35.99 for PSP). Any thoughts on this?
