Fleece gloves for 99c at Home Hardware clearance centres
There are 2 Home Hardware Clearance stores that sell fleece gloves for 99c/pair. These are quite good quality, some are Thinsulate made by 3M, and some says Sports World Blue.
Those 2 HH stores are at Cloverdale Mall (427/Dundas), or the mall at s/e of Victoria Park/Ellesmere. Maybe other HH locations too.
They are not warm enough for the harsh winter days, but are decent as emergency backup and definitely better than not having any glove at all.
I bought quite a few pairs. Kept one pair in each vehicle, then one for each person of the household for backup (put one each the pocket of each kids' school backpack), and of course by the house door. If can't find your glove but need a pair to be scraping car windowns, these are handy to have.

They have other choices. Some wool gloves for $1.88, and Hot Paw (a bit thicker and nylon outer shell) for $4. All are quite good price.

Don't forget you earn 1 Aeroplan point for each $2 spent (even though AE points are devalued again). You can even buy SDM GCs first to get SDM points, then use the SDM GC to buy HH GCs at SDM, thus getting points for your CC and SDM.

Thanks, Arrrgh. The 3M gloves are $1.99, however they seem to be better stitched so I went with them. Good stocking stuffers!
Earmuffs are also on sale for 79 cents each!

I did also buy the 3M Thinsulate gloves and they were 99c. Or maybe there were more than one type of 3M Thinsulates. Yap they're good a cheap, I'm going back there to get some more myself.
