Flight to HK in November
Anyone know if there's any reason I should hold off on buying a ticket now for a flight to HK. I'm looking to fly A/C and was hoping they would have some sort of deal, even 10% off, but haven't come across one yet, should I just bite the bullet and buy the tickets now?

Just ordered tickets for YVR/HK route using aeroplan card during November and it was a little less than $~800.
Here is the catch. You gotta order it from a travel agent from Hong Kong and your Aeroplan card has to have a Hong Kong address.
You can simply call in and change your address on your existing Aeroplan card to a Hong Kong address. And finding a travel agent in Hong Kong is easy.
I would do this as soon as possible, as this pricing from AC can expire at any time.

FWIW, the fuel surcharge just went up (yesterday, I believe). My travel agent phoned me on Friday to tell me that I should buy my ticket (for October) now if I still wanted the same price.
