That's what they say about high heels but a lot of women do it anyway.

Not sure illegal or not, but if there is an accident, you are the one who will get injury or die or reliable to any other damages. Why do it?
I drive manual, so with the 3rd peal on the left. No way._______________

Dunno, I drive in flip flops all the time, but if I'm wearing the type of flip flop which hangs loosely on my foot then I'll usually take my flip flops off and drive in bare feet because I'm afraid my flip flops might fall off and get stuck in the pedals.

Don't think it's illegal, at least not in Ontario. Not too comfortable though.

What's wrong with driving with them or slides if they are a perfect fit? I've never had any discomfort or fear using my adjustable slide with a 3rd pedal.

Myth
Nothing in the HTA applies to footwear, on or off.
I drive with sandals sometimes in the summer for quick trips to the store etc (velcro kind) but would not do it for any extended driving...

that would be pretty lame if it was illegal...i drive with em all the time, i usually have my heel on the floor as i drive and just move it back and forth between the pedals..theres no way for em to fall off really. I developed the habit from long drives
