Folder labels..?

Omg I feel so stupid this must be the simplest thing in the world.. but I just don't know.


I got these folder labels for those hanging folders today...

They have the inserts and its like 3cm tall then there is like an additiona 1.5cm as if it is for some purpose. It isn't perpherated like its supposed to be ripped off... just.. separated? What are you supposed to do?

If I bend it, it fits perfectly the height of the label holder... but is that bottom piece supposed to actually do something?

the ones i have fold in the middle and there is a little crease in the middle indicating where the middle is...
