I wanted to know if anyone knew a place that would install rear split folding seats on a grand prix 2002 GT ?
Anyone have any experience with this...thanks

Hmmm, I'm surprised the car doesn't have rear folding seats from the factory...
You could try getting the rear bench and whatever other parts from a car that did have the factory-installed rear seats?

I would assume that if the car doesn't have folding seats as an option..it's because there's a reason.
Some cars, like the Infiniti G series, purposely do not have folding seats because they reinforce the rear end of the car to provide better stability.
You might want to check to see if that the case before you proceed.

That gen GP never had split folding rear seats, to my recollection. The 97-03 GP only had the "ski passthrough" in the middle of the seats, I'm pretty sure. It could have changed in the later part of that 97-03 but I'm almost certain 97-99 cars were not available with a folding rear seat and the only option was the pass through (where just a small section in the middle of the seats folds down).
If one of the other W-bodies had split folding rear though, you could get the seats from one of those cars, most likey, and install them in your car.

FWIW, the Intrigue had split-folding rear seats starting in 98. They were added mid-cycle to the Regal in 2000, and available as an option on the Impala (and Century, I think) starting in 2000.
I must say I'm surprised if the GP didn't have them, but hey, this reinforces the point I made to you in the other thread...

LOL. I don't think the GP loses much on the interior from the seats. And yeah I still think it has the best interior of the lot, heh.
I know my friend had a 2000 (or 2002 I can't remember now) GP and it also had only the pass through, no fold down, so I'm not sure if that gen GP ever got those full fold downs or not.
