Gonna go test it out this week so I'll keep you guys posted. Seems like a sweet table though, first I've seen with brushed aluminum.
Model is called the Rock-it, and can be seen here:

Another thing I've noticed is that the rods don't extend out the other side of the table, so it uses some double bar system.
Can't wait to test this baby out! (They have a local retailer here in Vancouver)

And what *IS* a FOOSBALL TABLE?

r u serious?... IMO FOSSball just cracks me up and makes my day....
.... FOOSball is the way to go...
i'm actually not sure where it came from but foosball is the equivalent of table soccer game....
well my best guess is that, since soccer used to be called "football", maybe they decided to replace the "t" with "s" just b/c they made an sports table 4 it....

well yah... but what i REALLY meant was that foosball is representative of an actual soccer game, which IMO, should have the same # players as they would in reality!
and btw, these foosball table r made for 2-on-2 games , NOT 1-on-1 .... but sometimes 1-on-1 is fun though..... it tests ur reaction/anticipation skills... and how fast u r....
also, this foosball table is supposed to be *representative* of the real world soccer game... well it doesn't take a 3 yr old to figure that a foosball table is NOT the same as the soccer u c ppl play in reality.... (duh!)....

whoa... holy crap...
... thats like 1 of the most *CRAPPIEST* foosball table i've seen.... what's with the small goalie net and the height of the field.... if u shoot hard enuff with wrist power, it WILL bounce outside the table liek 95% of the time.... the foosball tables i play have heights at least twice that !.....
the better ones are actually tall and sturdy... and have bigger goalie nets .....

"Foosball is the American corruption of fussball (pronounced the same), the German word for soccer-literally foot plus ball. While the sport has the more formal name of table soccer, to the American players who love it, it's foosball, or just foos."
I prefer jitz (or gitoni)

I recently ordered a Harvard table from the Sears Outlet site for $350. Of course a Tornado would have been nice, but the price is over my budget at this time. Perhaps this table, like the Costco one, could be a decent compromise.

my friend got the $50 table from <a href=../autolink/redirectpage.php?linkid=24 target=_blank>Canadian Tire</a>.
Pretty good if you're not 'serious' about it.
We raised the height of the table by 8" to make it more 'standard' height, and now it plays like a real table... except it's very light and you can pick it up with one hand. Just gotta find a way to nail it down to the ground and it'll be super
.
But if you're even remotely serious about foosball, then it's probably not your thing.
