Hey,

I'm looking for an MP3 (or any audio format) of the Alert (!) sound effect from the Metal Gear Solid games. It's the sound that plays when you're spotted by a guard.

I used to have a CD with the soundtrack of the first MGS game, and that had a track with all the sound effects within the game. The CD is now lost in the depths of my basement, and the soundtracks that are available online don't seem to carry that track--it was an unreleased track, not included on the original soundtracks.

I've found a horrible WAV version of the sound, but that's filled with static and unwanted background noise. I can't edit it either, because the file is in WAV format and is mono.

Hopefully someone here has it, or knows where I can get it. I'll still keep searching online, and I'll try my basement sooner or later.

Nice idea. The background music and the sounds before and after ruin the sound, though.
