bump but totally not worth it , with better i/q with ATI and the extra ram if you game at 1280x1024, flash the pro to an XT

like cisco said just flash to an xt.i had a 6600gt and i went back to the 9800xt.
but you never know, sometimes a change is good too,but you should at least go to a 6800gt or a gs to make the change worthwhile

thing is who cares about synthetic benchmarks to be honest, gaming at same res they are pretty darn close with the 6600Gt getting the edge, but it is not worth upgrading from a 9800 pro 256 to a 6600Gt especially if the pro can flash to an XT
if you are gonna upgrade at least make it to a 6800nu or x800 pro or 6800gt otherwise it is not worth it
9800 pro is still a decent card when flashed , 6600gt is a bit better but suffers due to 128bit
but guessin the end he is the one shelling out the greebacks to satisfy his urge so a badump for you and bed for me

I don't think that you can flash an R350 core to XT, can you?

so why the h*ll would you flash a pro to XT? the speed is not that much different. maybe %5 (and his pro can't flashed to XT)
