Ok so, I'm a bit torn apart about the idea of pursuing a girl who's in her first semester of university, whereas I'm graduating at the end of this semester. We get along pretty well, but is this just a bad idea? It's not even the age factor (not much of a gap anyway) but I'm not sure if this would be unfair to her

I'm pretty sure you can still maintain a relationship even if you're not going to the same university or graduating or whatever.

Lol no, I'm not her TA. I was just wondering if that's unfair as far as her university experience goes.
Ahh, maybe I'm just thinking to much on her behalf.:confused:LOG IN TO THANK No one has yet thanked faxe for this post.

I'd say go for it, but don't put your heart into it. Young women (i.e. under 30) usually do not know what they want and are therefore not stable emotionally for anything longterm.

Are you not gonna see her as much just cause you wont be on campus?
I'd agree with thinking too much. Just try it out. You're not going to ruin her life (I hope)._______________

try it and see how it goes. dont get too attached.
being out of uni and just starting uni, you are at different stages of your lives. one wants to have fun and MAYBE learn something, the other needs to get their life going, maybe get married, kids after you establish a career position. age isnt what kills relationships.LOG IN TO THANK No one has yet thanked Buggy166 for this post.

Maybe you should worry whether she actually has any interest in you in the first place? You said you you're torn about the idea of pursuing her rather than actually having a relationship with her.Last edited by FrogPrince; Oct 20th, 2010 at 10:55 AM.

Am I missing something? What is wrong with that? It is only 3 years different in age.
