Looking forward to the new ADG Absolu release this year... a "marine-woody" interpretation of the iconic ADG!

https://www.fragrantica.com/news/Get-Ba ... 10612.html
Curious on how this will smell as well. I always thought the original already smelled kind of marine like and with Profumo, they already added patchouli to it...

reviews seem only "ok" appears to be released in Europe already

I wore Profumo today, can still smell it on me after 9 hours

Summer/Spring : I am looking at picking up Creed MI and/or Creed VIW

Both get real good reviews as warm weather scents, however both are expensive.

I have also tossed around the idea of getting some 30ml sprays from Perfume Parlour. They basically take frags and have them analyzed by gas-liquid chromatography to make clones.

I am sure DUA and Alexandria likely do the exact same thing. The positive for PP is their prices are way cheaper. Might be a good option to check out some of the high end scents. Killian, Nasomato, Creed, etc. There is no way I will even own all the stuff I'd like based on $$$$.
I got MI off a split board, 50ml for $107 CAD. It smells great, almost as good as Aventus. I think I'd like to get VIW too for the summer. I checked out Perfume Parlour and read some reviews from fragrantica. Seems some of their stuff is really good, and others are hit and miss. Prices seem reasonable. I got Armaf club derby blanche which is a Silver Mtn water clone, it smells okay and is cheap. They also have club nuit intense, an Aventus clone. Yep, you have to be real picky and choosy with the high end stuff as they are expensive. Getting clones, then getting samples of the real stuff is a great way to see if it's worth paying for the high end stuff.

Lol. Not sure how old you are, but hopefully those were university students.
Yeah, they seemed like uni students. I rarely receive unsolicited compliments from strangers but when I do it usually happens with CAHSEE, easily the compliment king in my current collection!

Fragrancebuy has a couple of coupons good until end of Monday.

Enjoy FREE SHIPPING* on all orders over $29.99

Coupon code: primer29

OR

Enjoy FREE SHIPPING + An EXTRA 5% OFF
your entire order when you purchase the Canvas Primer

Coupon code: canvas

Not too great, but if you wanted something cheapish you save on the shipping. I was looking at those $35 ELDO bottles and saving the $12 on shipping doesn't hurt.

Sounds like a good time to get the Herod tester for somebody. Looks like they restocked on some other stuff too.

Where did you see the coupon codes? This is bs. I asked for free shipping for my first order and they wouldn't do it, then less than a week later offer it.

Edit - I got the email yesterday showing the canvas code but not primer29 code for just free shipping on anything.

Where did the primer29 code come from? I don't see it on the email I received.
They should be crediting me the shipping charge, $8.65 is still $

I guess you could call or email them with the code and see what they do.
Let us know if you call, as I'd like to find out more about the company.
FragranceX who I use, emails coupons all the time, but on their site is a 15% off coupon.
I called them to see if they would accept both coupons and they said no.
Just curious at how Fragrancebuy handles stuff.
Often times, if buying one item, free shipping is worth more than 10 or 15% off.

They seem to handle returns and stuff decently from the reviews on their site and elsewhere from what I saw, the products were shipped and packaged quite well too.
I have no problems with my purchase,

Ok - they emailed me a $10 giftcard to make up for it, said the promotion is sponsored by that company

That was nice of them to send a gift card, good that you contacted them.
I've ordered from them a little while ago, and had no issues.
Was just curious at how they would handle the free shipping thing.
