Free 128 MB Compact Flash Card (for Canon owners)

got this off a digital photography forum...
Just got this in the mail, took about 1 month to come here....
It requires that you send in proof of purchase of a canon digital camera (mine was an A70) so its technically not totally free but pretty damn close...

Oct 4th, 2004 11:12 PM #7Is it $1.40 for International postage? I think it is. markj said it took about a month to arrive, so that's cool. I bought my camera around 18 mos. ago though, so not sure if that will work or not. Looks like a good deal if it works.

yes you mail this to the UK...it works if you have bought a canon camera in the last year (i think)...read the fine print...but like i said above i just got it today so the deal is still valid...its just the cost of a stamp .... whats there to question?

Bought my S400 13 months ago. Didn't see anything in the fine print indicating that the purchase had to be made after a certain date, so I'm guessing it should work for anyone who purchased a camera.
Worse comes to worse, you lose out on $1.40 in postage. Definitely worth a try!
