I was walking to get lunch and out in front of the old Much Music building on Queen St in Toronto they were handing out free beer (Bud Light Mojito). Well ok, maybe only near beer, but still, price is right!

We have children walking on the streets. Liquor stores and bars should not be allowed. We don't need underage to drink alcohol

Back when I worked for the breweries as a rep, we would set up promos like this when the rollout at the retail level would fall flat. That way we could purge the backstock that was accumulating off the lines at the brewery for lack of movement, not take a bath on the non saleable stock, and get a tax write off.
