internet is full of different specs for this same light... I wonder if 32 lumens it going to be bright enough but reviews of an older 18 lumen version that has 20+hours of battery life seem pretty decent.

thanks,

I did some research and according to the ANSI FL-1 standards, the 2 hour 45 minute runtime is time it takes for the light to lose 10% of it's brightness. So in theory, the amount of usable light is still much longer than the advertised 2:45. I did some calculations and assuming the flashlight takes 2:45 for every 10% of brightness, you'll hit 50% at about 13 hours.

So the old reviews of 20+ hours battery life seem plausible. Not bad...

Good deal? And can you trust these guys with your card number, or do they take Paypal?

Loool!

This light sells for $2.99 I think it went by the code 037-18 on ebay or something...

EDIT: these look better built, probably good O rings (water proof)

I've filled out this survey before, never received the flashlight.

Thanks for this info - would have done the survey and bought had you not warned me.

Oh and would have gotten into trouble for buying more junk.
