$18 shipping charge is a lot, even if you eat Dempster bread regularly and you're not going out of your way to collect those pins. You can buy a nice toaster for $10 on sale.

Dempster's has a similar promotion each year (last year I think it was the Hamilton Beach grill). I don't think their promotions are really a deal at all.

This one runs from Dec. 29 to Feb. 8. That means you'll have to buy 15 Dempster's products in about 6 weeks. Some households might go through that many, but for us that would mean we'd be overspending on products we don't need just to get a *free* toaster. The $18 shipping plus the bread makes it pretty cold (unless you really want this particular toaster AND can use that amount of Dempster's products).

If you really, really want this particular toaster, it is on amazon.ca for $34.97 with free shipping (seems to be the exact same one in this offer, just branded "Dempster's" for the offer). When you factor in the $18 shipping with the *free* offer, this costs you $17 on Amazon (cheaper than buying 15 Dempster's products):
